App vs Api

App Store:

This is the option if you want to build your own experience inside or M/Epic/Luma product. If you wish to have a 3D avatar, custom clothing designer, shopping site, or anything else you can think of, then this is the path for you. You will be hosting a web application that will then be added to our app store.

API:

This option will allow you to control your M/Epic/Luma product. Some use cases may be alexa integration, connecting multiple devices, external camera video playback. This allows you to make all the calls you would from proto cloud but integrate them into your existing application experiences.
